Diabetic Coach
Darryl was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 20 years ago. Darryl did not let this hinder his quest for continuing to pursue his goals and look after his health - in fact this fueled his passion and desire around improving diabetic management and quality of life in himself and others.
In April 2022 Darryl placed 1st in the Masters division of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Elite Australasian Men’s Classic Physique and then went on to place second in the IFBB Pro League Australia (Amateur) Queensland titles.
History shows a body building athlete diagnosed with type 1 diabetes even competing at this level let alone being successful is very rare and this is something Darryl is actively working to change, not only in bodybuilding but in overall general health and fitness.
Darryl has a lived experienced to show there are endless possibilities for others diagnosed with diabetes that need to be realized.
Darryl has a strong passion and desire to educate and mentor other diabetics/families and friends, around improving diabetic management and quality of life.

Diabetic Educator
Gladys is a Diabetic Educator and a Registered Nurse currently based in Darwin.
Her passion for Diabetes Education started back when she was working in an Orthopaedic Ward where a large cohort of patients with diabetes coming in for amputations. It was there Gladys was compelled her to learn more about diabetes and pass on the knowledge and skills necessary to support those in the community to effectively manage their condition.
Gladys provides support and interventions to improve health outcomes and quality of life of her clients whilst avoiding diabetes-related complications.
